Soul and Maka's Midnight - Lines

Okay, second to last for this little method description thing. Yay for almost being finished!

This is the pencil line art that will soon be colored for the final image. It was made on white card stock, and a picture was taken as a black and white photo for this digital copy. I cropped out a bit of my floor and upped the brightness and contrast using curves in Gimp so things are much more clear than they would have been.

The lines are of course sharper than the previous images, and I added a simple bit of creepy background building and foreground fog since it is Soul Eater after all.

On a side note, I decided to change one of Soul's shoes after I took the picture. One is a bit larger than the other, and I felt it better to scale it down a bit.

Next it is time to dig out and sharpen my colored pencils. Lots of stuff to color in the picture. ...In fact, I might have to go buy some more... I think a couple of mine are kinda running short.
